    Holiday Kilt??

I've been contracted to pipe at a couple Holiday concerts with a local symphony orchestra.

I was just looking over the contract, and it says

    EVENT: Holiday Pops Concert

PERFORMANCES: Segerstrom Concert Hall December 14 and 15 8pm

    REPERTOIRE: Highland Cathedral

    ATTIRE: Holiday Kilt

I've been doing this stuff for 40 years but I'm pretty sure that this is the first time I've been contractually obligated to wear a Holiday Kilt.

What, pray tell, might that be??

I suppose this is my most Holiday-looking one, mostly red and green.

More Holiday-ish than this one, probably

I would have suggested the other way round. I am biased, however, as I, almost exclusively, wear my Isle of Skye PV kilts on holiday.
If you are going to do it, do it in a kilt!

May I suggest a solid green kilt with tinsel and ornaments hanging all over.

That fellow looks pretty happy to be wearing that getup. If you do something similar, Richard, make sure you hang some blinking light strings from your drones. And wear a Santa beard. It can't miss!

Isle of skye isn’t a bad choice since purple is the liturgical color of advent.

When you wrote "Holiday Pops" I thought of Arthur Fiedler and the many concerts I saw when he directed the Boston Pops. What ever you decide to wear, make the music as fun and good as Arthur did for the attendees.
