Vintage kilt pin
I found this sterling silver kilt pin on Etsy. It appears to be made by Medlock and Craik in Inverness according to the hallmarks. Since they went out of business in the late 60s this had to be made then or earlier. I’ve never seen this particular design before, has anyone else? It doesn’t look like the sword is broken off so I think the design was a partial sword blade being held by the hands.

EDIT: It looks like the crest of Clan MacMillan
https://www.scotsconnection.com/clan.../macmillan.htm
There are loads of clan crests showing one hand holding a weapon, MacMillan has two hands holding the sword.
If the pin has full hallmarks you could check the letter date. I know much Scottish silver lacks the full set of hallmarks.
In any case it's a beautiful pin!
