I am telling the Tavern to plan on about 25 people.
I'll have just myself. The lady is feeling poorly. And my Friend & family backed out. So we're 5 down.

Programs printed. Toast to the Lassies prepared and sort of rehearsed. If the content is not entertaining, perhaps the delivery will be. :-D

Ha, ha. My computer was on and signed in, but I was not at the computer.

Jim, you were missed, and you missed some well done performances by tripleblessed, AlabamaCelticLass, Creag, and Walt in reverse order.
First (hold on to your hat) we have the first actual photo I have ever seen of Michael looking at the camera!
Some of our performers, left to right AlabamaCelticLass' husband, AlabamaCelticLass, Creag, and Walt
Wil and I thinking about Creag's Toast to the Lassies
More guests
and tripleblessed trying to get volunteers for next year!
And one more because I just noticed that not everyone was looking at the camera. Here's other folk looking away instead:

Worked on the top image a bit. The back light was tough on it. I know a guy who photographs events for my company and I'm going to see if I can entice him to come out next time if I cover his meal and drinks. It would be cool to have someone just taking photos with professional equipment during the entire event.

That would be very nice, Craig. I always say I'm going to take more pictures at events, then I get caught up in it and don't.

Sue and I both commented at different times last night that things would have made a cool picture. When Micheal was smelling the freshly cut open haggis with the steam rising up would have been a good shot to get, if you were a better photographer than I!

Hey, it wasn't my fault. I was starting dismantling sound and everybody took the back row before I could hide.
And three different folk taking pictures. With no warnings of when. Next year, with Craig's friend doing a more
professional job, I'll be able to make sure no one has to see me.

So, apparently Jim had a dram too many on Friday to celebrate the birthday and attempted to get the cattle reiving
handled without the rest of us. I've tried to explain you always need at least two in the field plus a lookout, but once
a Marine, always... He was just too embarrassed to call one of us to bail him out, and didn't make it to the party.
Next year. Meanwhile, this year brought 21 to the supper, 13 kilts. Usual top notch fare, same bozo raving about
pudding, and good work from Alabama. Becky must have used law enforcement connections to surveil Craig's
computer, she clearly had prior info to hone her response to his good toast. Walt, as expected, did a very good job
on Memory. Sam got his toe in the pool with the Grace and survived; more and bigger next year?
All in all, another successful evening, good time had by all.
Thanks to everyone for attendance, for support, and participation. Next year I'll hire a security team to make sure
Jim makes it to his own party.

And I thought that drone outside my window was just the neighbor's kids messing around.
