    Informal Christmas Day wear.

If you are going to do it, do it in a kilt!

Sorry for the poor quality of this picture. It was taken with a phone-camera and the light was far from perfect.

Anyhow, I am the one on the right and I wear my Flemish tartan.
A tartan which was registered and symbolises the Scottish-Flemish friendship (https://www.tartanregister.gov.uk/ta...tails?ref=1204).
It's worthwhile to mention that many Flemish immigrants were very important for the Scottish development in the early Middle Ages.

I'm very happy and feel very fortunate that I have a new kilt from Barbara Tewksbury, a box pleat in Kennedy modern. Thank you, Barb!

    White Christmas

I thought I'd have to leave the kilt home for an European winter visiting family, but was reassured online by someone from Alaska that it's fine in the cold, just need a good hat and coat
