This wasn't from today, but rather from my company holiday party a week or so ago. Still, I'll take any excuse to get all decked out in my tweeds. ;)

Self-made 6-yard RevK in Murray of Tullibardine Muted, though I did buy the fabric through USA Kilts (along with the Gaelic Themes waistcoat). I figured this ensemble called for something a bit fancier than the mock day cravat, and lo and behold, I had enough fabric left to make a bowtie.

I can't see a photo Dick but am going on blind faith that you are festive and well dressed.

Spent Christmas Day kilted and enjoyed having three times as many people at church for the morning Mass as in years past.

Had planned last night to be kilted for my “Vicar’s Hoyan Party,” where coffee, apple cider, and donuts are the sweet treats to celebrate the New year (or Hoyan) among the Oneida community. However, a snow storm forced us to cancel.

This morning was a belated Hogmanay — the tweed jacket and eight yards of wool kept me warm while my Senior Warden and I shoveled the walks before Mass on this Feast of the Holy Name.

I got a nice cable knit sweater from my mother in law which made for a great reason to throw on my kilt for Christmas dinner.
