    Ohio Scottish Games 2019 (Wellington)

I know it's Burns time and the summer Highland Games seem far away, but I've spent the last couple days booking flights, car hire, and lodging for my first visit to the Ohio Scottish Games 22 June 2019.

I looked back over old threads like this one

    http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/f...72/index4.html

which are great to get a general sense of the Games and some of the XMarkers who have attended.

Is it to early to begin a Roll Call of attending XMarkers?

Anything a first-timer should be aware of?

I'm in California and have attended Games here for 40 years. With pretty much all my family still in West Virginia I visit there regularly and do side-trips to various festivals back there.

I'm really looking forward to Wellington!

PS if you see somebody walking around that looks like this, it's me.

    (Bump)

I'm surprised that no XMarkers are attending what I understand are a large Highland Games.

Well I suppose it will just me flying the XMarks flag! And me attending all the way from California.

The Louisville Pipe Band (grade 4) will be there, but unfortunately I shall not. Safe travels!
