    Woohoo!

    My sgian dubh arrived today:

    The photos on the website don't quite do it justice. It has a really solid feel to it.

    It probably doesn't quite meet the strict definition of evening wear, but I plan to wear it for both day wear and evening wear anyway. (I'm in Texas. Who around here is going to know better?)

    Actually, it is. Or it's close enough that I can't easily discern the difference.

    But I agree. It manages to combine both the rustic daywear and more elegant formal elements.
    Trying to look good on a budget.
