    Highland monks

I'm thinking about having some monk strap shoes made. It would be nice to have buckles that look somewhat like they might be traditional Highland buckles. I havent verfified the width of the strap, but i belive 3/4-inch buckles will do. Can you suggest a source for small Highland-ish buckles? I search ebay but haven't found anything I like yet. There's a place in the Czech Republic that has some but the mailing cost is quite high.

Would the 'fancy period buckles' on these tankard straps be the sort of thing you're after?

    The strap is 3/4" wide.

From your title I thought I was going to see a picture of a religious order with tartan robes! 😇😂

Anyone can turn water into single malt. It just that some people have to take extra steps and take longer to do it.
I believe myself to be always operating within reasonable boundaries of sanity.

I dealt with Garvin Brown III, years ago. He was sponsoring, Danny Sullivan in the years leading to his Indy 500 win.Does he still have his hands in Jack D's?

add in: just looked, he died in 2010.
