Absolutely. There. Not here. Atlanta, IIRC, is the second highest major population center in the USA.
We have ridges everywhere you look. Anywhere near sea level, ice is almost not much of a problem, so
thanks for taking the burden off us.

Snow, above Silicon Valley, can happen. It did 6 February. Twenty minutes from home is the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. Twenty five minutes the other direction is HQ for Google, Intel, Apple's "Spaceship', Facebook, et cetera. Traffic was nasty. People were silly (I'm being overly polite). Below are the front yard, driveway, & a poster child for how not to drive over the Summit.

Add in: I wonder how difficult it is to get Tesla parts? The works is about 35-ish minutes away.

Well, today (2/8/29) it is snowing in Waco, Texas. Stayed about 30 degrees all day and a light dusting of snow continues. Weatherman said we may have sleet in the morning. If so, I'll have to find a few things to do in the barn (which also has snow from the wind blowing it in the ridge vents).

As a passenger in small airliners (15-17 passengers) and small general aviation aircraft, I have heard pilots announce,
"Wheels up.". Never imagined anyone would think to apply that to driving.
