Warmest February day in Scotland in 122 years

In 1897 the temp reached 17.9 degrees, today the temp has reached 18.3 degrees.

Not sure where to put this, perhaps the cooling off corner would be more appropriate.

Think the “Warming up corner” might be more appropriate😀😀. Please tell us where these “tropical” temperatures are being enjoyed because it certainly isn’t here!

18.3C in Aboyne here in the Northeast. Aboyne is often the warmest place in Scotland.

The one time I made it to Scotland was in March, and everybody said I would freeze. I was struck by the similarity
of March here and March there. At least that March. Nights in 30sF, days 40sF, on and off rain. Similar temps to
what I would have been in here, not as much rain. The Highlands gets less rain than here, but we have more sunny
days and heavier rain when it comes. Today high was about 61F here, about 65F there. Sometimes one can almost
    imagine being there.

I'm interested in this comparison but where is 'here'?

If it was warmer, we would be happy. Twenty minutes from the Pacific Ocean, 7:20 pm, it's 38 degrees F. Predicted low for the morning 29 degrees F. Without the wind chill.

Apologies. Metro Atlanta, Georgia area in the USA. It slips my mind often that I don't have location listed, and so
many of my posts are about Atlanta area Burns and Stone Mountain Highland Games events I guess I subconsciously
think everyone knows and remembers. Interestingly enough, when I found my way to Uluru and Alice
Springs, hot temps there were comfortably familiar to me, though oppressive to the British Isles folk I was traveling
with. Didn't make it to your neck of the woods, though I'm still hopeful.

Of course, the warm winter we've been having is not pleasing the ski centres.
