Question No kilts at the Oscars

Am i alone in being a bit disappointed that not even James MacEvoy wore a kilt to the oscars? Instead, he wore a bog standard black saxon suit.

James is certainly Scottish but comes from a very working class background in the very tough housing estate of Drumchapel in Glasgow where having a kilt would would not only be a luxury but a rarity as well.
Nevertheless he has worn the kilt on many occasions and always looks great in a kilt but I suppose he may be like most guys who have a kilt , they decide where and when to wear it .
I agree it would be nice to see James kilted at the Oscars, a good looking man

I want to say yes you are alone on this, but I'm sure there are some hear who may feel otherwise. So my retort is this... why care what others wore or didn't wear. Do you need an actor to wear a kilt to validate your wearing one? If the answer is no, why the question.

Many no longer watch the Oscars, Grammys, golden globe awards, for reasons obvious, I won’t get into why as it would violate rule #5.

    Unidentified man in a kilt

According to the New Yorker, there was an unidentified man in a kilt.
    https://www.newyorker.com/news/curre...d-rumpus-start

Maybe more than one, but unidentified men aren't the most newsworthy ... even if they wear kilts.
Trying to look good on a budget.
