Thanks for the clarification - my bad - I had seen a recent story from Prince Edward's biographer (Prince Charles' youngest brother) highlighting some of the friction between the brothers with reference to an incident at Balmoral when Edward had found some of the former Edward VIII's kilts and had appeared at dinner wearing Duke of Rothesay tartan - at which Charles was apoplectic as he is the only person entitled to wear that tartan. I guess either the biographer or one of the princes got their wires crossed.
