I love a good flap cap with my kilt. I sometimes fell a little silly in a bonnet. And at the end of the day, if it’s good enough for King George VII then it’s good enough for me.

Errrr, just so you know. The UK has not had a King George VII, yet! I think you might mean King Edward VII., or King Edward VIII., or perhaps King George V.. Edward VII looked very similar to his son George V in some kilt pictures.

The OP has a picture of Edward VII in a flat cap - but for the sake of completeness here's a picture of George V and (apparently - although to be fair it could be anyone) one of his sons the future Edward VIII and George VI - with their brothers:
No George VIII - plenty of others to go at...

Those hats look more like “baker boy” hats to me.

If you are talking about the four Princes picture, then I would know those caps as "baggy" style and these are often sold these days as "Bond" Style which eventually end up as "baggy" style after considerable use.

Perhaps living so near Atlanta, Wil has been trained by the several quite well known remote viewers in the area.
Being a fan of flat caps, and reading of their having fallen out favor, he fell into a deep trance and perused a distant
future in which the prince has ascended the throne, and the flat cap has, fifty or sixty years from now, returned to
it's former glory and royal favor.
