Welcome from South Florida. As a fairly new member of the kilt wearing community i can tell you the eye rolling doesn't last too long. Be careful, these things are addictive.

Welcome from western Massachusetts. My wife also likes the look and my students think it's the bees knees (from what I can tell!) As a high school teacher, I have a lot of freedom in what I can wear and I choose to wear a kilt everyday.
Kilt on!

I wish I had started wearing the kilt when I was teaching high school. My students would have loved it and it would have driven my principal crazy.
