    Wonder Woman

Can anyone who has seen the recent movie Wonder Woman, with Gal Gadot, identify the tartan worn by Charlie the sniper.

    Photos that might help

I found this photo and this photo which provide a couple views of the kilt in different lighting.

It has some design similarity to the Buckleigh dress tartan, but the color scheme is clearly different.
Trying to look good on a budget.

If you are going to do it, do it in a kilt!

No help with the tartan I'm afraid and I have not seen the film so don't know why he has a German rifle

He took it from a German soldier in Belgium.

Can't help with the tartan (which to my eye looks somewhat like Cameron of Erracht), but from the movie, the rifle looks like a British P-14 Enfield in .303 caliber, scoped for sniper use.

That is what he started with.

As mentioned in the previous thread, the tartan is Scott Hunting. I've taken the liberty of combining tpa's colour-enhanced photo with an image of the Scott Hunting tartan from the previous thread so they can be seen side-by-side at the same scale. Granted, the lighting alters the perception of the colours, but it is most definitely that tartan.

Without I hope contravening rule 11, you will find the book “ Sniping in France” by Major Hesketh-Prichard D.S.O., M.C. illuminating on that subject.
