Last Saturday was the memorial service for a family friend, Ron, who has lived a great life. He was 91 at his passing.

Per his wishes, Greg-the-Piper from the Windsor Police Pipe Band was there and he played wonderfully. There was nae a dry eye in the place. He was kilted and, I was too. He was in a tartan that was greens and browns, predominantly, I can't name it and we didn't have the chance to talk after he'd played. He left quickly as he'd likely something else on his plate.

I was wearing Heritage of Scotland...

During the course of the post memorial service meal, since I was on the end of our table, I was tasked with rounding stuff up for others at the table. I'm on my way back to the table with desserts for Dr. John and Jan and, and... A man swung around in his chair and said to me, "Great job! You sounded really good." I said, "Thanks but... I wasn't the piper." He blushed and turned back around.

Is it true that when we're kilted we all look alike?

Greg-the-Piper from the Windsor Police Pipe Band...in a tartan that was greens and browns, predominantly, I can't name it...

Greg was probably wearing his personal kilt rather than the band kilt, because the band wears Red Gordon.

I'm curious about this "greens and browns" tartan.
