    resizing a kilt

Just to make everyone jealous ... I've lost 2 sizes in waist circumference 48"-> 44"

any advice how I can make my kilt fit again ?
i assume I could move the strap 2" onto the inner apron ,
but how about the outer apron do I move the strap along the inner side of the outer apron or do I move the 2 buckles further back ?

You are correct regarding the strap on the under apron. You move the buckles for the rest.

I think moving the buckles more than a couple of inches will distort the way it hangs. I once had to have a pleat removed to make the kilt smaller.
