    Wink Hello from Glasgow

Since this is an international forum.... HELLO FROM GLASGOW. 👋
Actually 12 miles outside Glasgow but who on here knows where Motherwell is?

Living in Scotland you'd think I'd be well versed in everything kilt related but only twice in my 49 yrs have I worn the national dress, both occasions the hired option!
Decided a few months ago that I had to change that so went to a local manufacturer and got fitted for my first kilt.. Hebridean Heather 8yrd 16oz
A few purchases later and some gifts from family members, I'm now the proud owner of a complete outfit of my national dress, I've even went so far as buying a second kilt.. Stewart of Appin, Hunting Muted 8yrd 16oz (wifes happy as she's a Stewart)
This message board during that process has been most helpful, with hints and tips on what to buy and how to wear it but up until now I've only read the posts, thought it was time to actually join the group.
Looking forward to being an active member....

    Welcome to the "Great Rabble"!

...and I imagine that there are quite a few here who will know Motherwell. I'm Canadian, and I've been there!

Welcome from Tennessee, USA! I was in Glasgow 1 year ago yesterday. We visited the cathedral and saw the 12th Doctor at Glasgow Central Station. It was a fun time and we hope to make it back to your part of the world soon.

Well met and welcome good Sir. I am happy to hear of your new wardrobe and embrace of the kilt. Making a wife happy doesn't hurt the many reasons to wear kilt. Glad to have you with us.

Welcome, there's more than a few of us on here who have heard of Motherwell, very good football team when I was growing up (1970s).

Being so close to Glasgow most people here in Motherwell follow either Celtic or Rangers!
I do support Motherwell though and been watching them since 74
