    I like the terms, used late in the article to describe the construction of the dress, (quirks and fiddly bits). Kilt construction, compared to an A-line skirt, can have the same challenges. Uniqueness of the item becomes prevalent.

    I will keep an eye out for the documentary on the construction (Spring 2020) since I will not be able to attend the opening show. I hope any of the group will be able to attend and share their thoughts and experiences with us.

    Thank you Mr. MacDonald (figheadair) for highlighting some of the quirks and fiddly bits in your paper on the tartan dyes, edges of the plaid and placement of the historical manufacture of the cloth. This brings history to life for me.
