Milwaukee Highland Games -- anyone planning to attend?

I'll be at the Milwaukee Highland Games in Wauwatosa this Saturday, June 1, and would be delighted to meet up with any XMarkers who are there.

My organization will not have a booth this year, so I'm really looking forward to spending a free day wandering around enjoying the games, the vendors, the food, and the pipes and drums.

I don't know if it is still done by Xmarks members, but we used to wear a dandelion, or an artificial one, about our person----in the bonnet quite often---- as an identification at gatherings. Its not fool proof (as I found out!) but it is a gentle and rather exclusive method of identification.

I do live close enough that I want to go but I am otherwise occupied across the lake this weekend. Hopefully it won't be too muddy for you folks. I'd definitely skip the white hose!

The Chicago area games are the weekend of the 14th if your interested. I am going to try attending that one.

I had been planning to go but every OTHER day this weekend (Friday - Monday) is taken up with miscellaneous matters so Saturday is the only day I have to do the things that normally get done on weekends. I still may make an appearance around noon-ish?
