Wall Street Journal article 22/23 June 2019
My sister showed me the Wall Street Journal article on kilts yesterday.
To me, it's a typical keep-moving-nothing-to-see-here sort of thing. It's scantily researched and the writing style itself is dull.
None of the things pictured are kilts in the traditional sense. One looks like a leather Utilikilt; the author calls it a "skirt".
I don't know why these writers can't trouble themselves with doing one iota of basic research, such as skimming through a single book about Highland Dress, which would take all of five minutes.
Or looking over XMarks for a few minutes! 15 minutes looking over a few threads here would have enlightened this guy a bit.
