    A couple of recent purchases

I was very happy to be invited to a friend's wedding last weekend, due to recent weight loss I have found that none of my jackets fit so I was contemplating the purchase of a new jacket and waistcoat from Scotland. As the day arrived and I was getting closer and closer to crunch time I happened to be driving past William Glen & Sons here in Toronto and I saw the sign below on the sidewalk:

I could not pull over fast enough they had my new size and so I purchased a new set in Lovat Green. I decided to get the waistcoat altered before the big day for a straight bottom instead of the long tails that came with it. I think that was the best way to go. Darren told me that these jackets and many more, he has sizes up to the 50's, were found in a box at the head office hidden in a room that had not been opened for 15 years or so, which explains the price, there are several left by the way.

I also purchased these new hose from North of Hadrian's Wall which worked wonderfully.

"Happened to be driving past" ???? That's what all stalkers say!

Nice score. And for all our friends in the U.S. 320 CDN$ is roughly 241 USD$ according to my friend, Google.

It is almost a shame when you had such a nice, varied wardrobe, but at least ya still got your wildcat!

Mine is a Braemar cuff but I think they may have had gauntlet cuffs as well.

You looked very smart indeed. A very becoming ensemble. It was a pleasure to have you there.
