    WTTB : Garter Yies

    found a pair???..... thanks

I am looking for a set of garter ties but none of the N. American suppliers seem to stock them. My 'local' highland store used to keep an array but no longer and now I have left it too long, soooo.....

I am looking for ties, not flashes for this outfit. They needn't match but should complement the outfit.

I have a U.S. address in NY as well as Canadian if that simplifies things for anybody.

If you have time, and some basic knitting ability, you could knit your own. I had good luck with mk3 found here:

At this point the only thing I can knit is my eyebrows when I'm confused. My wife has been going to teach me but....

I've purchased my garter ties (4 pairs) through eBay and Amazon. Most (if not all) were House of Cheviot, even if it didn't specify when I was ordering. In my opinion, burgundy would look awesome with that outfit. Black would work rather well also.
Trying to look good on a budget.
