On July 20, 2010, my beloved stepfather died peacefully in his sleep at the age of 75. I have been very lucky to have two men in my life I could call Dad and I have missed him very much. My father is a mixture of English (we have Pilgrim ancestors) and French, and my mother and stepfather's ancestors are primarily Scottish and French. As Dad had some Scottish forbears I thought it might be appropriate to design some tartans in his honor. He always said his favorite color was green, so that's where I started. He also had the bluest eyes you've ever seen; one design reflects that.
I hope you like them.
To be honest, this one might work better as a flannel shirt, but Dad wore them often, so...
Let me know what think about their suitability as kilts. The setts I design usually come in between 6 and 7 inches.
