    So the point of each pleat will be folded over to the next line in the following repeat of the sett?

    Actually each pleat folds over right on top of the pleat with the same element in the next repeat.

    So red stripes in a black band stack up on red stripes in black bands.

    When pleated you should be able to lay the pleat sample strip right on top, and everything should line up. Reproducing the Sett exactly.

    Thank you again, you've been a tremendous help

    I've started practicing with the piece leftover from splitting the double width fabric. Seems more manageable. Once I can get that pleated consistently I'll move on the real thing.

    And thank you for demonstrating with Davidson tartan, really helps make it understandable.
