Thank you Steve for the welcome and introduction to this site. I come from a family of Highlanders who pipe, dance and in general have fun celebrating our family's Scottish history, however that was in my uncle's family not mine so I only watched from the sidelines. After a recent DNA test confirming my Scottish side, a challenge during a SASS or Cowboy Action Shooting match and my own interest in my heritage, I've had to make myself informed about kilts and history and now look forward to delving into the site for information and enjoyment. My kilt and kilted skirt will be ready soon.
