Just Ordered Up my 19th Utilikilt and ( I Think) My 82nd Kilt Overall
Love the Utilikilts survival and they had one in ACU digital Camo in my size ( after chopping the length for me). So What the heck, Pulled the trigger.
Gotta wait for it to be chopped...yes, pics when it arrives.

Someone is gunning for Hamish's record! When can we expect number 100?

No way. He keeps all of his. I churn mine...sell off and use the proceeds to buy new ones...lost a LOT of weight so now only have a few new ones that fit. Sold some of the larger sizes off but apparently no one in my old size has an interest in many that I posted for sale...so having them cut down by my kiltmaker. She's working on my Royal Air Force tartan kilt to see if it can be reasonably reduced in size. Waiting to see the results. If it works will have her do the others I still have. But I "only" have a couple dozen kilts now and only three that fit counting the inbound UK Survivor.

I have a long way to go with only 11!! Side question: may I ask where you sourced your RAF Tartan cilt from? As a serving member, looking for the best solution. Many thanks.

There's this guy in England who controls it. I can't recall his name. Perhaps the rabble can help with it or you can search Royal Air Force on the forum. I'm guessing Arthur Mackie but may not be the guy. My Kiltmaker, Kathy Lare in Albuquerque, N.M. arranged the purchase.
My father served as a fighter pilot (Hurricanes and Spits) in the RAF in 1942. A Montana boy come to save the homeland. As a descendant I qualified, though I don't know that it's even restricted.

I have missed his posts and pictures. Is he still around?
You don't have to be Scottish to be comfortable!

There's an entire section at the bottom of the forum about him:

That's amazing RiverKilt!
I'm relatively kilt-poor, I've been wearing my Isle Of Skye ever since I got it, and little else.
I have a band-issue kilt I wear with the band.
And a Royal Stewart MOD style kilt I wear with my Black Watch outfit, which I rarely have occasion for.
I've been itching for a new kilt (my first in a decade) but now I'm furloughed on half-pay and there's no way I can afford one.
I was going to make over a thousand dollars over St Patrick's Day weekend, and buy a new kilt, but all those gigs were cancelled.
Kudos to you for your undeniable panache, and your support of kiltmaking!
(BTW do you have a MultiCam kilt? If I were to get a camo kilt, that would be it.)

Have a desert digital too large for me that no one wanted to buy.
Have an ACU digital one - the one the thread is about.
So, maybe close, but no cigar.
Here's a pic of the old one.
I've owned and sold six other camo kilts
CADPAT and Desert Camo from Freedom Kilts
Forest MARPAT from Pittsburgh Kilts
A Sage Digital and Woodland Camo, both Originals from Utilikilt
And a lovely Tiger camo from Amerikilt

Arthur Mackie of Forfar, Angus, SCOTLAND!!!
At one time he worked with the Strathmore woollen company, whether or not this is still the case I don't know.
