Real Highland Dirk Dance Historically Accurate? (1971)

Found this little clip on You Tube from the film The Massacre of Glencoe (1971).This scene shows the Laird entertaining a guess in his castle. A young man is called to perform the dirk dance for his betters.

I think you do get a real senses of the history in this part of the film. The young man certainly give a great performance

The film as a whole needs some better actors and maybe just a better director.
What do you guys think historically accurate depiction of 17th century highland life?

I guess this reconstruction is as good as any other. At least the actors are Scots so the accents are correct and the Gaelic is good. The dirk dance was lost in Scotland but attempts have been made to reconstruct it from information gleaned in Canada.
