    Belt Hardware

I’m looking for the bent wire looking thing apparently called a ‘wire bail’ to connect a kilt belt to the buckle.

The same as this thread: http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/f...90/index2.html

Unfortunately I can no longer find the correct piece on any of the links provided in the above thread. Does anyone know of any current suppliers for these? Thanks

Web search L&M Highland Outfitters, and give them a call. They make their own belts, so may be able to sell you one.

    An option ...

You could buy one of the lower priced belt buckles from the usual suspects and pirate the part.

I'm constantly looking for cheap stuff in thrift stores that I can salvage findings from.

    Two recent finds:

    https://www.bucklebox.co.uk/kilt-buc...lts-7729-p.asp

Strange bit of kit - but has the part you need.

    https://www.bagpipers.eu/kilt-belt-a...r-prodetail469

Obviously not a keeper (or ceeper [sic])

Have not bought from either place so not a recommendation - but came across this looking for some plain buckles to mod.
