We went to an informal Burns Night on Friday, I only got one photo, but under my coat I am wearing a grey jumper.

This was today sort of part 2 there is a Burns tea at a museum close to us that we've gone to in the past and had a great time at. So this was today's outfit.

We attended the celebration on Friday, at McMenamins' Cornelius Pass Roadhouse, in Oregon. It was our first Burns Supper experience and we had a wonderful time! Excellent drinks, delicious food, the pairings were impressive, and we really enjoyed the company of those seated around us.

Hard to tell in this image, but I'm wearing the Spirit of Scotland Tartan with claret(burgundy) hose and bottlegreen flashes.

Basically as below (although this was taken at a wedding, so no button-hole for Burns') but with different hose as I rarely wear the black ones these days...

Our local Scottish Society of Fredericksburg celebrated Burns Night Sunday evening. It was a great time and we had the University of Mary Washington Eagle pipe band with the Thistle Highland dancers to entertain us. Here's the group of XMarkers who attended left to right Bob Glasgow, MC, Craig Forester and Larry Livingston .

Lovely Wife and I enjoyed the 162nd Annual Robert Burns Banquet put on by the St. Andrew's Society of the City of Milwaukee this past Saturday evening.

I was especially impressed by the performance of a fugue entitled "Steam Train to Mallaig" by the Billy Mitchell Scottish pipes and drums accompanied by a contemporary Highland dance by the Caledonian Scottish Dancers.

    Lake Lodge #189

Lake Lodge #189 Free and Accepted Masons of Wisconsin held its annual Robert Burns Table Lodge. Here are photos. The piper was our own Bill Reid, a.k.a. WARPIPER.

No photos of me since I was the hired photographer. I'll add one my wife took of me right before I left for the event.
