    A little bit of spring colour

    I'd previously posted this on FB but know that not everyone uses it so thought I share it here too.

    Detail of a piece of late 18th century plaiding. A fine example of the subtlety and beauty available with traditional natural dyes.

    That is beautiful!

    The colours remind me of the British Columbia tartan (though the latter certainly isn't as subtle)
