    I'm dying over here.

That sporran is great with all the compartments. Love it.

I also tend to try to carry too much stuff in a sporran. OCRichard started me shopping for vintage ones. It's tough to carry a modern car key/remote in one, much less two if one has a two car family.
I was at the Highland Festival (remember those?) in Alma. I was allowed to attend alone so I thought I'd be the thoughtful husband and bring something back. My wife had always been tough on purses. One solution was canvas shell bags from either Duluth Pack or later Frost River. Not fashionable by any means but very durable. There was a "Celtic" purse vendor there.
I found a nice leather purse for her. I also saw a small canvas bag with a shoulder strap. It looked about sporran size. I think I paid at $25 for one with my choice of "Celtic" pin. Once home, research was in order. Name brand inside the flap.

It's is indeed about sporran size, two pockets under the flap- carries wallet and phone. Small zip pocket on the front could fit credit cards or change. The flap pocket on the front holds my Swiss army knife. There's two D-rings on back for either sporran chain or hangers. A sporran strap could go through the belt loop in the back. I choose to tighten the web strap to waist size and use it as if it was a sporran strap. Your waist may vary. Not pretty but versatile. I use it for hiking, dog walks and trips to the store.

Steve's Carry-All looks great, sadly innovation is often challenging in a traditional industry. It seams the kilt industry moves in fits and starts and that a few dominant players dictate what is in and out to the rest. Hopefully we get rid of rouche ties in the next 20 or 30 years...

Although, I don't have a problem with having too much stuff. Loose change goes in my waistcoat pocket (I must get a small coin wallet at some stage), phone, flask, keys (if carrying) and card wallet all go in the sporran.

The hose in the photo are not gray but light brown. In the US called Khaki. Gaelic Themes named these "Stone".

I don't think I've ever had too much stuff for my sporran...well if so, I really need a backpack.

I just now took some pics.

A look down inside. There's a large-format cell phone, wallet, keys, and tall 19.2 ounce beer.

Not that I would ever sneak beer into a Highland Games

Come to think of it, there was one Highland Games that only had one beer stand and it had horrible stuff.

I could put two ordinary-size beer cans in that sporran side-by-side and put my wallet, phone, and keys on top.

Just to see, what about if I wanted to carry whisky?

It does stick out the top, but I can carry it, wallet, keys, and phone.

Exactly so, here are the British army "stone" shirts

and the British army "khaki" tunics

I do wonder sometimes about whether the Canadian military follows British colour-names, or those used in the USA.

It applies to civilian clothing too, it took me a while to figure out just what colour tweed was generally reckoned as being "brown" in England.

The largest thing I have to carry is my phone/wallet combo and if the weather is warm and a jacket isn't an option I wear the phone in a belt holster. Not only does it reduce the amount of stuff / weight in the sporran, it makes it far easier and quicker to access the two things I tend to need to get to when out and about

    Cheers
