    For Sale: Tweed kilt jacket new with tags size 48S $300 OBO

    SOLD

    This bespoke tweed jacket and waistcoat was measured incorrectly and the shop would not refund me my prepayment. It is brand new, never been worn, with original tags. The photos do not show the color in its true depth, a blue tweed that is no longer in production. I want to recoup my loss, and get this to someone who can wear it.
    $300, OBO, buyer pays postage from WA state.
    If you want more photos please send me a PM.

    a question on the 48S...

    This is probably a stupid.naive question, but...

    Is it a 48S for a size 48 Short because you are short in the torso? Or, is it a 48S because it is cut short for wearing with a kilt?
    The hielan' man he wears the kilt, even when it's snowin';
    He kens na where the wind comes frae, But he kens fine where its goin'.

    No problem. I should have been more clear.

    The size is 48 short, and I wear a 52 regular. It's a traditional kilt jacket and waistcoat, made in Scotland. They measured me at the shop when I ordered the jacket. At the time I told them I needed a 52 regular, but when the jacket came in it was a 48 short and they wouldn't refund my deposit. The shop has since been sold to someone else. I don't want to besmirch the new owners' reputation, so I won't mention the name of the shop.

    I would like to recoup the $300 I lost, but at this point it's just taking up space and I will never be able to wear it.
