    Welcome back into kilting. Also from the Grand Rapids area- just a wee bit north. i have a couple of less expensive ( utility and acrylic ) kilts used for knock-around stuff. Walks (with and without dog), lawn mowing and quick shopping trips to town. I do save the better ( wool) ones for a bit more formal settings. Mostly because I'm not ready to get them cleaned a lot.
