I don't know about you, but personally at 68-70 degrees I'm wearing a t-shirt. The discerning gentleman might consider a polo shirt, which would dress things up a bit!

A long-sleeve "fishing" shirt, as they are often called in the US, would be a good choice, or any similar type of tactical/military style shirt in a lighter fabric with roll-up sleeve button loops. They are widely available from US Outdoors/Sporting Goods stores such as REI, Cabela's, Dick's, Bass Pro Shops, Columbia, Eddie Bauer, etc. I think such a shirt is more appropriate for the event than a polo shirt, and definitely more than a t-shirt, but that's just me.

Yea, agreed, that's probably a better option. A lot of those shirts have built-in ventilation as well.

A light weight long/short sleeved tattersall shirt, perhaps? Something along this line? The fleece was put on in the cool of the evening after a similar event.

What would you wear if you were going to wear pants instead of a kilt?...................Wear that.

Short-sleeved shooting shirt? Tattersall shirt with SC's shooting vest?
