    I took note of the things that went wrong with those first photos

    1) direct sunlight
    2) shiny tie that glowed too bright
    3) bag-cover with gold trim that glowed too bright

    So the day before Christmas it was overcast and drizzling here so I got my daughter to take a couple quick shots.

    I think this photo fixed all those things: overcast, black tie, different pipes.

    I'm a big fan of colorful ties with plenty of character, but for this outfit, changing the tie out is a huge improvement, IMHO. Very nice.
