All is Calm
I caught this on PBS on Christmas Day. " All is Calm: The Christmas Truce of 1914". Its a bit play, a bit more musical, and a bit "Ken Burns". It's not "Joyeux Noël " more of an impression using song and quotes.
The costuming is interesting. Two soldiers are kilted. The uniforms are impressions not intended to be accurate but rather to suggest. It allows the cast to switch characters ( and characters regiments) and later armies by changing head gear. It works well I think.
It looks available to stream ( at least in the US ) until the end of the month.
