    Welcome from Orange County California!!

I've been a longtime Seaside Highland Games attendee too.

Our California "Highland Games season" was much shorter years ago: it began on Memorial Day Weekend with the biggest Southern California Games (in recent years at Costa Mesa) and ended on Labor Day Weekend with the biggest Bay Area Games (in recent years at Pleasanton).

Then the Queen Mary Games were added in February to kick off the season and the Seaside Games in October to bring it to a close, making for a much more full Games calendar.

Let's hope by October we have start having Games again! See you there.

Welcome to a newcomer living in a place where it is not snowing, from a not-newbie in a place where it currently is.

I'm sorry I missed you, I would have been there for sure. Our band plays there every year.

Such a beautiful location right on the ocean, with surfers there when the surf is good.

And those Games have a unique trophy- a fullsize tartan surfboard!

That is dazzling! Thank you for the photo! BTW, my family had a Triumph Stag -- and I didn't show it but I have been to that show at presumably? Channel Islands Harbor!
