    Greetings and Salutations from Maine

    Hello everyone.

I have lurked this site for several years now. However until now I had no kilt to speak of, so I never joined. My husband has wanted his very rare kilt for the last 11 years and now, presumably due to covid, I finally got my hands on Ancient Green Morrison. Why not just go to a site and order one? Well they are out of my league expensive. Also not into acrylic.

I have always wanted a family kilt set, but unless my husband did not have his own, I thought it would not be mine it should be his. A personal choice of marrying in, not a dislike of my own. So, anyway as I mentioned I got an ex hire and one marked vintage on the sale though I have no idea how old. I intend to be posting up some repair questions for that one. I have chosen that one for myself as it is a lighter kilt. Also to possibly get help in finding out though I seriously doubt it, if the other can be extended for my husbands .. weight. I do not believe kilt extenders will do the job but I do not know the how, where, or how much it might cost to see if it can be altered. I am not afraid of my own sewing or leather skills I just need the knowhow, and the hard part motivation. Possibly someone can just help me find a super large one? XD

Anyway hope to see you all around maybe get some handy help.

Hard to go wrong with any of the Morrison tartans . Hope you reach your aim of a family set.
