Welcome,
My Grandfather and Grandmother migrated to US from St. Andrews, Antigonish. My family are the MacDonald (MacBride) and Chisholm (Ban) both families settled 1690.
I have a very close relation to NS...CHEERS.
PS I have a NS Plaid Kilt, love it, done by Mac MacIssac, of near Cape Bretton.

I grew up just across from St Andrews; lived in Lochaber from 1986-96.

You must be very familiar with the MacDonald's, Chisholm's, McKenna's, MacIsaac's and the Mackintosh Clans, all related in one way.... They settled the farms on Manchester Road near Marydale. Use to be large farm and orchids.
Cheers,
