    yet another Ebay mystery kilt

    This one has me stumped, a very nice Kinloch Anderson kilt, with sgian that itself might be worth the price.

    It superficially looks like MacWhirter, but it doesn't appear to be.

    My first-glance thought was that it was one of those House Of Edgar "Irish County" tartans, but it doesn't seem to be one of those either.

    The name on the label is Somerville, I searched it and it looks like it is Somerville tartan although the pictures in the listing aren't great.

    Yes, it's Somerville, a rarely seen tartan that dates to the 1930s.
