Interesting Braided Epaulettes on a Prince Charlie Jacket

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CfE7jHThiUc

If you pause the video just one second in (as the lad is bowing) you can glimpse the epaulettes on his PC jacket, seems to be braided in alternating white and black to match the dicing on his balmoral cap. I've only come across fully self-same material being used as the braid on these jackets (civilian), has anyone comments on this?

I have not seen anything like that before on civilian attire, but it is the sort of theatrical embellishment that one expects from performers.

Agreed Jock. Not something that one would choose to wear in polite company.
