Pockets in Inverness tashes?

Please have a look at these photos. Is is standard for inverness flaps to have pockets inside as shown?

I have a balmoral doublet that has a pocket in the right hand under-tash.

Every Scottish-made doublet I've owned has had functional tashes.

Which is what they started out as, pockets, hence the name (tasche: pocket, pouch, bag).

In Full Dress you have precious few places to put things! The traditional horsehair sporrans having cramped pockets in the back.

Likewise. Actually, my Sheriffmuir came with no inside breast pockets which greatly reduced my ability to pack this that and the other. My tailor made short work of that problem for me.

Actually, my horsehair from L & M has a huge rear pocket. Very helpful!

Same here. This is the pocket under the flap of my vintage (probably 1950s?) green doublet. As far as I can tell, pockets are the norm and not the exception.
