    Tartan doublet at last

    Dear Rabble,

Thought I would finally post my first tartan doublet photo:

This doublet is a balmoral Stewart Old Ancient from Gaelic themes, tartan epaulettes, black imitation horn buttons. It was wonderful to get dressed and see a show for the first time in 18 months (in this case, in the Austrian Highlands).

That is absolutely splendid, well done indeed. It may be bold but then fortune favours the bold. You both look wonderful I hope you enjoyed your evening.

We did, thank you! Needless to say I was channeling the Wildcat tartan suit when I put this one together.

Oh I think this doublet stands on it's own. It really is a wonderful piece.

It looks superb, Richard. Well done! Looking forward to the next photos, somewhere a little more northward, maybe! ;)

I think the only thing more impressive than the outfit is the smile on your face.
