I wear this one as my go-to sporran: https://www.kommandokilts.com/produc...an-with-plonge

It’s not strictly traditional, but it nods in that direction and has more room than I need.

If you choose to wear this as a sporran, why not try wearing it on your right hip the way drummers do. It won't bounce and you won't shock as many people.

If you wear that as a sporran be prepared for people expecting you to start singing "Word Up!"

With that shape, a great way to get in to "trouble", plus what already mentioned a few times.... No from me!

OP, it seems from your previous threads on sporrans that you don’t really want a sporran.

Why not just wear a fanny pack?

Personally I'll stick to sporrans to fill the role of the sporran.

Ditto kilt pins for the role of the kilt pin.

I still want it to weigh down the apron. The wide fanny pack would not fulfill that function as well.

Ha, the Prince Albert bit did not escape me, but I'm not sure it's that much more suggestive than many traditional sporrans. I mean, many hair and fur sporrans look like bushy pubes but no one lifts an eyebrow.

The one thing that gave me pause was the point about the zipper. I would much prefer a different closure system.

    Thanks for the insight!

I'm pretty much of a similar mind to you- traditional sporrans don't do it for me. I've seen a number of these hip bags I've considered repurposing, however I think this one would be a bit too suggestive for me.

The other issue with almost all of them I have seen, and I don't know if you have considered this, unless it's an unusually smooth zip, you are going to need to use two hands to get in it. With a leg strap holing it in place, probably not an issue, but wearing it as a sporran I think it would be hassle getting in and out of.
