    Tartan recognition request

    89b294e6-faac-4e5f-b652-c636c448e845.jpg

Hi all, I was left this kilt by my Grannie and am currently researching my heritage. I would appreciate any help to recognise what tartan this kilt is, to assist me in my genealogy search.
    Thanks in advance
    Craig

if you go to the official scottish register of tartans website and input any information you have like the colors that are in the kilt/tartan for example, then you would be more likely to find any information on your genealogy or the tartan in general https://www.tartanregister.gov.uk/search

It's Hay & Leith (two different families joined through marriage and so use for either). This is the version that first appeared c1880 and is a simiplified version of the older pattern.
