The kilt fairies have paid me a visit...

Sadly, it's just a warm up. The kilt itself SHOULD get here today...

It's here. Annoyingly, headed out for the evening, so no time to un-baste and put on. Later tonight.

So I finally got to try it on. I'm not sure what impresses me more- the quality or the weight. It's a fairly heavy tweed (Dugdale Houndstooth), with a burgundy fringe and black straps.

There is nothing I don't love about this kilt, but the best part, hands down, were the messages Howie wrote under the lining. He was a joy to work with.

Not sure what I love more-

The kilt, the messages from Howie, or your signature line…

Thanks- it was a great process working with Howie, and I think the message reflects that.

Thanks- I’m on a bit of a run at the moment- we seem to have overlapping tastes- you’ve said nice things about the tartan being used for my next kilt on another forum- I’ll leave it a mystery, one hopefully to be revealed in the next week or so.
