A Sad Anniversary
14 years ago today we lost my Uncle McMurdo. He was a volunteer in the Royal Navy during WWII. He was 14 years old then. Every year on this sad anniversary I wear this kilt the Royal Naval Association tartan which I had woven and hand sewn in his memory, Barb Tewksbury did an incredible job on this kilt and I am forever grateful to her for her work on this kilt and her friendship. I am also wearing a pair of his cuff links. I find it difficult to believe that it has been 14 years. I miss him every day. At any rate I wanted to share these photos with you all.
