    Pre-Christmas treat

To celebrate the nearly end of a difficult week, and the imminent delivery of a new kilt, a little mince pie, and Glenfiddich 12 yr old. Sorry about the terrible picture, mess, and less than elegant dishware.

Looks like you have good reason to celebrate, and that you've chosen an excellent way of doing it!

No need for apologies as long as you enjoyed yourself. :-)

I much enjoy a few pieces of shortbread with a glass of whisky - Walkers is widely available, and seems to pair well with everything I've tried so far.

Scotch Blondies are pretty good too, but this time of year I’m usually feeding a fruitcake, this year it’s Grand Mariner.
