    Kilt Pin

Does anyone have a kilt pin recommendation? Who makes a good one ? Preferably I'd want something USA, UK made only.

    Thanks,
    Scott

Check out USA Kilts. They are advertisers here, they have excellent quality, and most of what they sell is either US or UK/ Irish made. I have several kilt pins, among other things, from them.

Also be aware that any pin of the right size can be a kilt pin.

If you do a search for kilt pins, you'll come up with a lot of threads with lots of pictures. There's one here: http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/f...lt-pins-25346/ There was another one called just "show us your kilt pins" that someone else might be able to find better than I. You might get some ideas there.
Just remember that kilt pins are optional.

Depends on the type of pin you want.

Ulla Box Creations do some nice antler ones https://www.etsy.com/shop/UllapoolBo...on_id=20939076 as do J Boult www.jboultdesigns.com and Antler Sgian Dubhs https://www.antlersgiandubhs.co.uk/handmade-kilt-pins (who also have some ox horn pins, and I bought a rams horn pin from them last year) - although these are pretty easy to make yourself.

Ebay is sometimes worth a look for vintage/silver kilt pins.

Nagle Forge is a California company which has some unique kilt pins. Their web site shows only a small fraction of their merchandise. https://nagleforge.com

I've no idea what your budget is, but the Ministry of Tartan (ministryoftartan.com) has a couple of nice vintage silver regimental pins for sale:

I have had Ian make a few things for me and I am very pleased with them. I have to say that his kilt pins that you show do not enthuse me.

I have a lovely round Stirling silver Celtic cross from Ian, and wear it with pride and delight. He's not cheap, but you do have to pay if you want quality.
